Can we take a picture with you ?

ACT 2 :
The party is over, while I was leaving the theater of the New Generation School, a mother of one of the students stopped me. She was in her middle age, in which the genuine Egyptians looked good and said: Dr Hossam ,I want to hug you, and thank you for what you are doing for our children in education first.
I smiled and said to her I’m glad you realize that.
She said: My daughter was very shy, almost became a loner , today I saw her in the stage with a real smile , saying poems, proud of herself , singing and dancing. I do not believe myself and of the impact of your presence in the lives of our children.
At first, I refused her to go on a theater stage to. act, but after I saw her today with her outgoing attitude reading loudly and with self confidence , I realized how narrow minded I was.
Dr. Hossam, she discusses her opinion at home , she became a more beautiful human being.
The mother and father joined me saying you don’t know the effect of your optimistic vision on us. You made us with the Dr. Salma & Mahmoud, Professor Rania and the education team first , see the best in our children, and give them a chance for their potential creativity.
‘Can we take a picture with you’ ?

Act 3:
In a lecture with the principal of the official language schools. After the lecture is over, and I am looking the eyes of principle to feel the impact, one of them came towards me saying : I have attended a lot of training throughout my career, but I have never seen seriousness and professionalism like yours. Previous trainings had also no passion like your passion, and no impact as your influence. At first, I hesitated to attend and told myself, another alleged course another nonesence to just draw a picture as most of the previous courses, but when I attended, I was surprised , my respect for you and education first has grow to the sky.
‘Can We take a picture with you’ ??

Act 4
I had a meeting with fifty five students and boys & girls from the age of 11 to 14 years old, moving from preparatory to high school. Fifty five students participated in a camp prepared by the foundation with professionalism and positive philosophy towards the practice of sports, cultural work and art to get out the best of them, then the meeting was with me, and I named it the Dreamer Theater of tomorrow in the world of education first.
The meeting started with a question of who I named the Ghalbawi group, with curiosity, courage, asking me : tell us more about yourself.
I smiled and started telling them simply about myself as a human being , student , father Doctor and teacher , and we agreed that everyone who speaks should start by defining himself from his own perspective.
The topic of the meeting was “ life is a choice”
The core of my talk was that each one of them must commit themselves to education & knowledge gaining, and training to make himself better better equipped to make his/her choices facing alternatives that will open up before them.
So we talked about the future, happiness, achievement, and what each sees in the future. Our conversations about family and the gap between generations was intense . We talked about technology and social media and its impact on them and on society. ( mind you their age to see the beauty of the conversation. )
We even touched on Modern thoughts of evolution and creation of the universe and the different theories around it…..
I could not imagine boys and girls at this age having such a beautiful presence, intelligent curiosity and a desire to know.
An excited girl said to me: Sir you tell us choices, what if my choices are different from my parents choices, what should I do?
Another young boy said: You say today’s jobs will disappear, what am I studying to fit for the future.
And the third said: I want to know more about the theory of creation of the universe and how it agrees with what is said by religion.
And the fourth said: Our problem, doctor, is that the older generation of us do not understand our requirements that differ from yours.
And the fifth said: ,should I choose what makes me happy or what makes me successful?
Sixth said: I want to read all the books on your iPad..and smiled.
The seventh said : What does a parallel Universe means?
The eighth said: Is it my right to discuss my school teacher if she says what I think is wrong?
Managing conversation where he said and she said… Curiosity, daring, open mind and questions worth thinking and dialogue with whom we think are just children and it is not the time( by older generation perspective) , to discuss such inquiries with them.
This is a great generation in Egypt, naturally happy , strong & relatively wise. They are the digits of our future . They deserve to open the doors of freedom in expressing their opinion and treat them with respect..
I said to them: Discuss with your families without fear but with respect, and don’t underestimate their intuition and expertise, but you must find means of persuasion. Learn and train to be able to adapt to change in life requirements.. Language, thinking, knowledge, and life skills make you more prepared to face and adapt to the future.. Experience & knowledge are important for each one to distinguish between right and wrong, by research , reading references, and discovering different perspectives and respecting evidence based results.
They said to me: What is your philosophy in politics?
I said: I may disagree with others on a matter but I will defend their rights to think and express , this is a principle. I may object to what they do but if They accomplish something useful I’ll welcome that , that’s my responsibility. I may love them as human being and disagree with them in opinion, so that doesn’t spoil our affections and respect . That’s how I was and that’s how I’ll be in politics.
They said: Are you optimistic:
I said: the answer is YES , and what increases my optimism is to talk to you
They said: Is our country okay?
I said: Our country is fine and it will remain with great history, struggling present but with glorious future which we can build together.
They said: We want to have a role
I said : And you should get it.
The truth is , I ,who took the positive energy from the children and youth of Egypt.
Children and students gathered around me and saying :
“We can take a picture with you”

Back to ACT 1
A call from a friend asking me if I can meet with Dr Salma ElBakry , an owner of New Generation School as she has a project and want your consultation. As per my experience, I searched before setting the date, and I welcomed the meeting First because the intellectually , ElBakry family is a respectable one .
secondly that the meeting was about education, my passion.
and Thirdly that this is in a community framework that is not intended for profit.
Dr. Salma and I met and she told me about a fetus called “EDUCATION FIEST ”that she wants me to help delivering.
Then we met with Dr. Mahmoud Hamza the future professional motivator of the project , and again for the third time and again for the fourth time.
From the first moment she touched with her credibility,
passion, my dreams that was revolving inside me with Takatof and association of dreamers of tomorrow which all met within the framework of our passion towards raising the level of education in our public schools.
Her passion and Dr. Mahmoud met with my expertise in concentrating efforts to creat effective critical mass of success that will expand and spread.
I lived with the team of education first building up an amazing project including thousands of beneficiaries and I consider it one of my best experiences in public work.
With my experience in Takatof , which is my association that builds schools and dreamers of tomorrow that builds human capacity , education came first to be the most beautiful experiences of success in community work.
The education team became my new family, and with love, passion and professionalism we achieved great part of our dreams.
At every beginning of a training course, and at every end of a stage, I talk to the coaches and trainees and gain from them and with them energy for the next steps with knowledge, and precision.
Every ACT in which I was photographed with education first my mind created a point in a complete painting of a dream come true, a reality that is stretched, with friendships, and love mingled between this wonderful team, with the profession of Salami Al-Bakra, and the beauty of Rania, clarity of Ahmed Al-Bakri, and the precision and accuracy in style of Dr. Mahmoud Hamza with modesty and leadership.
Now it is my turn
“Can I take a picture with you”……..
