Medicare Middle East was incepted in 1989 as Egypt’s first health maintenance institution. It reflects an institutional vision to develop health care through the Private Sector’s support for the Health Sector with the aim of achieving the highest quality of health care. It aims at achieving economic development in the society. Medicare currently serves more than 50 thousand members in addition to 70 hospitals and medical centers through 75 first aid doctors and 2500 consultant professors

Nile Badrawi Foundation for Education and Development is a pioneer in enhancing and launching education development initiatives particularly in Egypt. It is concerned with benefiting from international experiences in developing education. It is also concerned with conducting the necessary studies to reform education in accordance with the challenges facing the Egyptian society. The foundation also focuses on capacity building and supporting initiatives such as Efham or Understand initiative; an entrepreneurship program that aims at activating the role of Egyptian youths in the economic and political spheres

Honorary Chair, Egyptian National Competitiveness Council (ENCC)

Dr. Badrawi established ENCC in cooperation with the Business Sector and Egyptian academics as an independent foundation to enhance the competitiveness of the Egyptian economy. ENCC is the first non-profit NGO that shoulders the responsibility of handling competitiveness issues in Egypt and the Middle East. ENCC issued its first report on Egypt’s competitiveness in the summer of 2004. Since its establishment, ENCC has been concerned with the issues of balanced and comprehensive growth sustainability and how it affects social justice and equal opportunities
