The walks of life are similar, and we do not know what it is except by passing through its experiences, enduring its hardship, and expressing it… And medicine is one of the exceptional and unparalleled human professions through which the practitioner relieves pain, treats diseases, and removes symptoms, but by repeating his action, and his ease in relation to his skill, he may forget the side The other aspect of her image, besides the fact that the doctor is the same as the patient, is to forget what the fear of the needle pricks as it enters from the skin into a vein or artery, and the pain from the surgical opening after the operation when the movement begins. And the difficulty of what every person simply does in his day, such as eating, urinating without a catheter, or exchanging messages on his phone while sitting in the bathroom…
When we move to the other side of the picture, conditions change, and the doctor sees that what he sees as petting on the part of the patient when he is afraid and in pain from repeating a complaint here and a complaint there, is perhaps greater at this moment than what the actor imagines by repeating his action..
The sense of awe, fear, and pain of losing consciousness has completely different colors depending on your location on the painting, between the painter and the painter.
And in a grueling experience, I found myself in an inverted experience, in which I am not the surgeon, but the patient, worried, afraid, in pain, and the surgeon’s scalpel cuts my skin and muscles, with all the knowledge and knowledge in my mind of complications and the proportions of professional and circumstantial errors, and with my confidence in those around me, except That this aspect of the picture is upon each of us, when we go through it, we have to remember it, and even express it so that our humanity is not lost by the mechanics of our skill, so we only see ourselves, our knowledge, and our sense of our ability as doctors, and we forget that this is only a means to show mercy and help in recovery, God willing.

I teach my students that the personality of a person and the extent of his presence appear at the time of intense pain, gushing sadness, and unbridled desire, whether biological or human, and at the time of sweeping victory and humiliating defeat…. A person’s ability to control himself and his reactions to these feelings is what determines who he is, and how he builds his boundaries for himself and with others.

A young woman from “Dreamers of Tomorrow” said: Explain more, Doctor!!

I said: Who do you think is the saddest when losing a lover!!? Who screams, pulls a hair, blames those around him, throws himself and hurts them to show his grief to others, or who really grieves and thinks of the beauty of his loss and his love, who makes his memory better, or who wants revenge and killing to heal his anger?
Who do you think is more civilized and perfect, the one who enters victoriously, then pardons and unites, or the one who kills, divides, and stirs up strife,!!!

Who is the respectable, classy person who respects and elevates women more than just a sexual symbol that excites his instincts, or who sees her as a mother, sister, wife and daughter!?
Who is better morally, who wants to hide her and considers her a commodity of his masculinity, or who sees her as the origin of life and his partner, so he respects her privacy, grace and knowledge.

Who do you see when you are very happy firing bullets and raising your voice without permission? Is he the most valuable in society or just the loudest?!!!

Who do you see as the most civilized in the event of defeat, who congratulates the winner and works to improve himself, or who accuses the referee and the audience in a sports match because they are the reason for his defeat?!!!

The civilized person knows that God knows his secret and does not need an announcement to inform others of that, so his appearance, his microphones, or his screams are not evidence of his faith, and he does not impose his will on others to be like him, but rather shows his love, mercy, tolerance, and perfection of his morals, so he is an example without acting, and without noise. He is not arrogant, and he suffices others with his gossip and evils, and reminds them of the best of what is in them.

The experience of a few days, while I was with my family, loved ones, and friends after a not simple surgery, brought me back to myself to think about the fragility of the human body, which is only a vessel for himself and his soul, and whose true value appears in what he does in this part of his life that he lives in this body.

Every doctor and shepherd can be sick and needy when the picture is reversed, and every jailer can be a prisoner and an oppressed person, and every ruler is in fact governed by what he does with his power and scepter, and every rich man with his money is poor except by his conviction and the goodness he spreads around him…

The picture is completely different according to the location of each one of us.
The picture I have, in the university hospital in a province .. in Germany, while I am in my room on my way to undergo serious surgery, is accuracy in performance, perfection in work, everyone complements each other in the team, every detail is documented about my medical history, everyone starts at eight fifteen A minute in the morning, and the German machine is in perfect dynamic harmony….The same image from another site and my family and I seeing patients in other rooms, most of them elderly, in loneliness and solitude without visitors or friends, and stillness around them, without emotions made us look at everything we criticize in our society with the same eyes. Others.. Can we combine efficiency, accuracy and achievement without losing our humanity????

There is another picture that must be considered, which includes an exceptional cardiac surgeon, at the age of forty-six, and his assistant in his mid-twenties… Why am I talking about him? This is the question and the two-sided image… He is a skilled and auspicious doctor, accomplished and creative in what he does, and the German team of surgeons and the medical team looks at him with admiration and respect… He is one of the only ones in all of Germany to change the aortic valve without injecting dyes that negatively affect the work of the kidneys, and he does so Laparoscopic and without an open surgical procedure, and when I looked closely at his operations schedule from eight in the morning daily and on weekends, I found that he had performed more than five thousand operations in the last five years with impressive success and great skill, and the operation was registered in his name, as he is a respected researcher and scientist….

Why do I repeat the words about him, because he is Egyptian, he is seen with pride in Germany, the country of perfection and accuracy, and he is a creator and inventor, and he is at an age stage in which people like him assume leadership and pioneering in their country .. He is Dr. Tamer Owais who combined the world of achievement, working in a team, and between Humanity and the beauty of the Egyptian character…..

I found what I wanted in the painting that I am looking at… It is Tamer and others like him from the successful Egyptian youth

I believe that the most important skills that young people need to work now and in the future are the ability to work in teams, communication and communication skills, flexibility and adapting to change, in addition to digital skills, computer use, and knowledge of a second language besides Arabic. Some people think that this is outside the scope of majors such as medicine, engineering, law, military colleges, and practical colleges, as one of the young men commented.
I said to him: No, my son, these skills are needed by the doctor, the engineer, the lawyer, the officer, the teacher, and all specializations.
Another young woman said: It is said that a large number of jobs today will disappear and new jobs will appear, which will make it more difficult for job seekers than it is now?
I said: In terms of numbers, this may be true, as there are indeed jobs that will disappear during the next five years, and most of these jobs are dominated by a repetitive pattern, but in return thousands more new jobs will be created, and this means expanding the available job segment, not decreasing it.
Whoever could not work as a taxi driver in the past can now work as an Uber driver, and the driver’s task will develop into a mobile semi-secretary, and he will become more than just a driver and will need new skills, and whoever could not work in customer service at the workplace can now work in the same job from his home . Rather, today’s doctors have to work in a team, and go to the primary health care specialty, without which the new health insurance system will not succeed, which will allocate each number of the population to a group of primary care doctors who must have digital skills and communication, to perform a job that the future will need in a new way.
Some jobs will disappear, such as the job of entering information and data, because with the growth of digital management, this will be done by “automation” and collecting information through big data.
(Big Data)

Specializations will change completely whenever work platforms change, and I mention here specializations that we did not know before, such as virtual reality developers, self-driving car engineers, vertical agriculture specialists in cities, green transformation jobs, and others such as data analysts, computer systems analysts, information security specialists, makers and analysts. Coding, e-marketing and software designers.
Unfortunately, most of the new majors do not have educational curricula and training programs in universities. Rather, large companies prepare young people for them, not traditional educational institutions.
The essence of the art of the profession in law and medicine may continue, but the specifications of the future doctor and lawyer are changing now and will change tomorrow by virtue of the availability of knowledge and alternatives, the qualitative change of service seekers, the immediate review of professional decisions and the possibility of comparing them with international standards.

Distance education and training has also become a reality, without the need to buy land or rent buildings and spend billions, and micro-certificates appear and will appear.
(Nano degrees) that does not cost those who want large resources, and professional diplomas to raise the level of employee performance as long as its students have the necessary skills.
Technical education and vocational training develops so that the owner of these professions becomes equivalent within recognized limits in the skills that we are talking about in order to advance the profession and increase its respect in society and even its resources.

A young man looked at me and said: There are some words that have become frequent and many people may not know their meaning, so what do you mean, for example, by automation and digitization?
I said: I did not know the term “automation” until after reading a number of reports about the future of jobs and work in the future, and it is a modernized and Arabized term that means automation and refers to everything that works by itself without human intervention. “Automation” can be described as the use of computers and devices based on processors or controllers and software in various industrial, commercial and service sectors in order to ensure the flow of procedures and businesses in an accurate and correct automatic manner and with the least possible error. In short, “automation” is the art of making procedures and machines run and work automatically with greater efficiency, less time, and without human intervention.
As for “digitization”, it is the conversion of written, oral, audio and visual communication into digital electronic messages that everyone understands and can be saved and retrieved quickly and easily. We can say that everything in the ancient world required a written document to survive, otherwise it would perish. But the result of digitization now is higher efficiency in work, art, research and education, with lower costs, better control and unprecedented availability, which puts generations of our children and youth in front of opportunities that were not available to our parents and grandparents.
I return to your question about universities and granting degrees. Universities in their traditional form must change, because the labor market precedes them in development and innovation, otherwise they will lose their role in creating the future.
We should not think of higher education as a response to the current labor market situation, unemployment rates, or the state of a profession at a specific moment in time..However, it will remain this type of education that lays the foundations for the features of the future, and builds people who are capable of making development, not filling in The vacuum of needs only.. It is the education that builds the human being, the maker of opportunity and its realizer, and not only the beneficiary of it. It is the education that builds the normal personality that uses the data of the age for the benefit of humanity and not its destruction.

Therefore, the most important question is what do we consider universities in our vision, builders of civilization or just service providers, because that is what will make the difference.

From my point of view, universities need to know the reasons for change or the reasons for sticking to what science and society think are constants, and in order for them to do this, they must question what has been acquired and also test the different modes of thinking that exist in each society, and the university must take the risk of presenting Everything is unexpected and don’t take it easy to stay the way it is

A young man said: Do you mean by your words that universities embody the processes of change in society… This is what we do not see, Doctor, because we see universities running after

At the kind invitation of Dr. Mona Al-Hadidi and the Youth Committee of the Supreme Council of Culture and within the framework of the desire for youth participation in the national dialogue, Dr. Hossam Badrawi gave a lecture in which he said;
Within the framework of changing the ruling intellectual premises for dealing with youth throughout the modern history of Egypt, the main pillars of the July 1952 revolution depended on the state apparatus playing the role of guardian of the ideas and visions of youth, and the intervention of the regime and its ruling popular organization, whatever its name, in defining the goals of working with youth, and marginalizing the role of youth Those who belong to any current or other orientation that has an opposition or even a different policy.

Likewise, attempts were made to reunite the youth, and did not continue, during Mubarak’s era, the most important of which was the Horus experiment, which was adopted by the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports.
Transform the Republican Palace to confront the demonstrations, and create a semi-regular army parallel to the police force that imposes obedience and punishes those who disagree with their ideology.
However, we believe that this vision, which its proponents thought was valid during the period of government during the three eras of the July Revolution, and then the era of the Brotherhood, is no longer valid during the transitional period and the stage of rebuilding it now. The sharp diversity of ideas and visions that society is witnessing represents a serious challenge in and of itself, and an opportunity at the same time.
Therefore, it becomes necessary to formulate a new general policy for youth, to which the state apparatus adheres, and the parties concerned with drawing up and implementing this policy, as well as the youth themselves, participate in its formulation.
And the necessity of confronting and dealing with the sharp political and religious polarization that exists in society.
The formulation of this policy faces a set of obstacles and challenges:
Challenges facing the state policy for youth:
1- The first challenge lies in who has the right to set the state’s youth policy.
Profitable and not-for-profit.
The origin is to create a natural base of young people who respect considerations of merit and competence to hold public positions away from direct state interference in employment (except in the narrowest limits).
If the youth can have a comprehensive meaning, it is not limited to the availability of a budgetal shares, but it will come back to the climate of creation of opportunities (the employee of the state created opportunities and not to be fun), and opens the doors of transparency in the youth. The challenge is to bring stakeholders together. suit the needs of each segment of them.
Some think that there is no need to set state policies for youth, because they represent 60% of the people, so all state policies are directed at them in any case.
The third challenge is the rooting of a culture of dependence on the father and mother state that spends, subsidizes, employs and guarantees, which is not possible in all economies of the world, let alone in countries that spend more than they produce.
The fourth challenge is a dual challenge, which is represented in the small number of youth civil associations that are entrusted with discussing and implementing these policies, if they were set, and the ruling regime’s lack of confidence in these few associations and security’s apprehension about the youth’s participation, which then allowed them to participate in any activity.
This challenge also includes the lack of a legislative framework that allows the participation of Internet activists and actors in youth initiatives in an institutional capacity, away from their personal selves.
The fifth challenge is the unsustainability of any policy in the

Hossam Badrawi

During my visit to Alexandria to attend the celebration of the Library of Alexandria’s twentieth anniversary, I went through six experiences in one day..

Alexandria is still in my imagination the city of beauty and nobility, it is a close history as a multicultural cosmopolitan city, and a distant history that carries a special fragrant and flavor that we were waiting to taste every summer from San Stefano to Sidi Bishr, and from Raml Square to Mamoura and Montazah .. between the yellow taxi and the tramway And between summer and winter cinemas.. Alexandria is the most beautiful people.

During the past thirty years, my visits to Alexandria were limited to places, I go to attend a conference or give a lecture, or I attend the Board of Trustees of the Library of Alexandria .. I mostly stay in the Palestine Hotel or the Four Seasons, and I stay between one and two nights.

This time, I decided to taste Alexandria in a different way.

The first experience was in the great and wonderful Library of Alexandria, whose workers protected it from falls that could have destroyed it, when they stood with the people of Alexandria in a close line, hand in hand, to protect the library from destruction and fire that was practiced by fanatics during the January 25 revolution. They burned the ancient Alexandria governorate building and demolished it. Buildings that have a history, but even by pushing the herd, they could not do the same thing with the library. Rather, it was the behavior of its workers and those who joined them from the citizens of Alexandria and even some of the demonstrators who protected it from destruction.

The great library and its board of trustees of kings, former presidents and international dignitaries, with Egyptians of stature such as Farouk El-Baz, Amr Moussa, Farouk El-Oqda, Ahmed Kamal Abu El-Magd, Abdel-Aziz Hegazy and myself, joined forces to protect the library, its director who was almost harmed by the flood of injustice and chaos after January 25th, and he and his honorable history, and he Without him, the library would not have this international status and this unprecedented international cultural presence.

I mention here that I am Dr. Abdel Aziz Hegazy and Dr. Ahmed Kamal Abu Al-Majd were summoned to the prosecution for investigation in April 2011 while we were in the midst of a meeting of the Board of Trustees, with the aim of trapping Ismail Serageldin, the director of the library, and tarnishing his history with the aim of accusing him of neglecting the library’s funds, which did not happen, and the claim was proven false, as all the library’s funds were in Preservation and preservation in the Central Bank did not decrease a single penny.

My first experience today was in the edifice that did not fall, but is still growing, interacting and rising.

Serageldin gave an interesting lecture, in his capacity as the founder and first director of the library, and he took us through the history of twenty years of events, and I remembered while watching the pictures this quantity and quality of the achievements that were formulated in this unprecedented edifice.

In a procedure of much credit, the new director of the library, Dr. Ahmed Zayed, the workers who spent twenty years preserving it name by name, and the library director who preserved its existence after Dr. Serageldin, Dr. Mostafa El-Feki, until he handed over its leadership to Dr. Ahmed Zayed.. they are supported one after the other by Dr. Huda Al-Mikati, the respected professional memorizer of the library’s history.

The experience here is what I witnessed from the wonderful library orchestra and the library choir of adults and children, and the pride of the workers in each department of it, and their pride in belonging to it.

Everyone plays a symphony in harmony between the present and the past, with the music of the beautiful artist Rajeh Dawood, and Dr. Ismail for future prospects in science at the same time.

The library is Egypt’s civilizational, cultural and scientific treasure.

The second experience was my visit to the ancient University of Alexandria and its successful, proactive president who understood the role of the university in creating civilization, not just providing an educational service. Perhaps his experience as a former governor of Alexandria and his international communication made him an exceptional president of an exceptional university.

Alexandria University, with its various programs, its agreements with international universities, its branches outside the country, and its reception of students from outside Egypt, represents a model for Egypt’s 2030 vision in higher education in its administrative independence and academic freedom. We are proud of it and happy to have it.

The third experience was my walking tour in the evening alone in Raml Square and Safia Zaghloul Street, and my observation of the citizens, male and female, and the quality of the shops on both sides..

People, like most Egyptians, are very nice, and citizens sitting in front of the shops stopped me to welcome me with a friendliness I did not expect and a beautiful, endearing smile.

The number of shoe stores, which overwhelm all other types of stores, caught my eye, and I do not know the secret.

And my surprise was in the ways of displaying the goods heavily in the windows, which indicates an interest in quantity and not the use of modern display methods, and at the same time the lack of cleanliness in the street despite the presence of a good number of cleaners.

My pain was on the famous “Elite Café” without customers, and the darkness of its lighting.

Most of the girls cover their heads with a headscarf in different proportions, from a full cover including the neck, to a cover without covering the neck, to a partial cover with the back of part of the hair, to half of the hair, and the girls are mostly dressed despite the veil.

Men’s and youth’s clothes are mostly T-shirts and cut-off jeans, as in Western fashion, but the “conversational tone” needs social research about what happened to the Egyptian slang in the last 30 years.

I believe that what makes the street feel random in Raml Square are mass transit microbuses and mature people calling out to customers and announcing where vehicles are moving with a loud voice that overlaps with the sounds of motors, motorcycles, and Egyptian music similar to high-pitched rap music that corresponds to the new vernacular.

I believe that if respectable and organized means of transportation were available, the street might return to what befits the ancient city.

The violently lit advertising columns on both sides of the street caught my eye with a mixture that I only see in my country, from advertisements for goods, to advertisements for doctors and writing their specialties, as if the great profession is on an equal footing with advertisements for shoes .. For your information, this is prohibited by custom, law and professional ethics.

Ali Café “Dreamers of Tomorrow”
The great Ihsan Abdel Quddous
Among the personalities who had a great influence on the formation of my sentiments was the creative professor, Ihsan Abdel Quddous.. the son of Mrs. Rose Al-Youssef, the woman who competed with men in a patriarchal society, and the founder of Rose Al-Youssef magazine and the Sabah Al-Khair magazine, and his father, Professor Muhammad Abdel Quddous, who was an artist and author. Traditional in every sense of the word.
I met Ihsan Abdel Quddous in Hurghada in the last eight years of his life, where he was resting and my family and I often enjoyed the calm and beauty of the place. Sentimental fabric.
Like other young people, I read Ihsan’s novels and watched great films that embody them, such as “I am free”, “Do not extinguish the sun”, “The Well of Deprivation”, “A Nose and Three Eyes”, “The Bullet is Still in My Pocket”, “Where is My Mind” and “The Black Glasses” and “The Dancer and the Politician” and “My Dear We Are All Thieves”
Then “The Fine Thread” and before them I do not sleep “and after them” The Virgin and the White Hair” and “I will not live in my father’s robes”
And finally, “I don’t lie, but I do make up.”
After that, the time allowed me to befriend his son Muhammad Abdul Quddus in the year 95 during the preparation for the parliamentary elections, and I, Muhammad, had nominated ourselves as independents in that race and gathered together that the state apparatus was working against us for various reasons, but we gathered a sense of injustice and the suffering of passing through the procedures that he held. Security is ahead of us at that time… I am for my audacity to run for elections in an important district (Qasr al-Nil) as an independent at the age of 44 against the candidate of the National Party and the candidate of the Wafd Party, who was promised the seat within the framework of a political deal, and my victory over them in the first round as an unexpected surprise, and Muhammad Abd al-Qudous for being Leaning towards the Brotherhood’s political Islam and its troubles on the ladder of the Journalists Syndicate.
The important thing is that my intimate friendship with Muhammad, despite our different political leanings, then with Ahmed Abd al-Quddous, and my follow-up to Ihsan’s salon in Rosal Youssef made me closer and more familiar with their father through them, as if the beginning of my acquaintance with Professor Ihsan in Hurghada in the year 82 had extended after his death through his two sons.
Ihsan Abdel Quddous wrote social lessons, through which he reveals the Egyptian society, and speaks out about what is in it, with courage that made him enemies who openly oppose him and may prevent their daughters from reading his novels, due to her audacity to dissect the characters within an unprecedented fictional framework..but he reached all segments of society despite his will. That..and his frankness with the reality of life and his courage in literary and artistic presentation were important to me and in my appreciation of the meaning of looking behind events and taking lessons and consideration..
Was he just a man of letters, no?
He was a politician of the first order…and a journalist of a unique style, at a young age and in the prime of his life…
Ihsan, the journalist, did not fear the state when he exposed the issue of corrupt weapons in the war of 1948… He did not fear the authority of his friends who supported them at the beginning of the 1952 revolution, and expressed his opinion, so he was arrested in the military prison for his audacity to criticize the course of the revolution at its beginning, and he used to call out the leader of the revolution “Jimmy” for the intimacy of the relationship, After his release from the military prison, Nasser invited him to his house to calm his mind, so he called him Mr. President to inform him intelligently of his position towards the friend who was..
And I came to a stage in his life that seemed to be the one that put a definite sign in my sentiments, which is his collection of articles, “Ali the Political Street Café”, which after more than thirty years had passed, and I found myself resorting to its philosophy, without deliberate thinking, in expressing my political and social views in my articles. Ali Coffee (Dreamers of Tomorrow), which he published more than seven years ago in Al-Masry Al-Youm, influenced by the dialogues of the philosopher Socrates with his students and Ihsan Abdel Quddous in his dialogues between the young man and the old.
Let me take you with me on a tour of the political street café at the end of the seventies, to know Ihsan’s impact and influence.
Ihsan says in the introduction to the book that included these articles:
“The sessions of the political café are not stories, but they are also not press campaigns, nor are they mere political articles…but they are opinions that go beyond the events, that is, they are not related to the event itself, but are related to the general principles that I believe in, and the logic with which I interpret these principles…..they serve as a record For an opinion that expresses the thought of this generation in which we lived and expresses it.
I chose two of his interviews on the political street café, which were published in 1979:
the first:
The young man said, smiling sarcastically: They are talking about freedom of the press again, as if they were talking about trying to reach the moon!
The old man said bitterly:
All those who talk about freedom of the press are idiots who understand freedom of the press as freedom of opinion.
The young man said in astonishment: Isn’t it freedom of opinion?
The old man said:
Absolutely not. There is a big difference between freedom of opinion and freedom of publication. Now that you are sitting on the coffee shop, you are free to say your opinion: but in order to publish your opinion, you need a tool for publishing.. And the press is nothing but a tool for publishing. If we say freedom of the press, then the correct meaning of this freedom is the freedom of newspaper owners.
The young man said: But the chief editors are the ones who control what is published. And they can provide freedom of opinion.
The old man said: No.. The editor-in-chief is just an employee of the owner of the newspaper. He is the one who chooses and appoints him, and he is the one who dismisses him.
The young man said: How can a person with an opinion ensure that his opinion is published?
The old man said: To choose among the owners of the newspapers, and if he finds someone who agrees with his opinion and with his political direction, he publishes it in his newspaper.
The young man said:
How do we choose among newspaper owners in Egypt?
The old man said:
All Egyptian newspapers have only one owner.
The optimistic guy said:
There is the Supreme Press Council.. There is no doubt that it is a force that can achieve freedom of the press

Sharjah is a beautiful emirate, and all Emirati women enjoy great politeness, cordiality, and welcoming faces and smiles.
The UAE has received 15 million tourists so far, and statistically it is expected that the number of tourists will reach 22 million
It is twice the number of tourists who visit Egypt, which has more than half of the world’s monuments… It is the smile, affection, tolerance, airport, taxi, cleanliness, respect for visitors’ freedoms and the strict application of the law..
Two things caught my attention, the first of which was that at 11 o’clock the conference stopped to salute the UAE flag, because today is Flag Day. And I learned that all the Emirates stopped at the same moment and stood to salute the symbol of their country, and today evening there are joyful celebrations as well.
The second note was from an Emirati citizen while I was on the Corniche. He came to me saying that he was taking a picture and my face appeared in the background and that he apologized for not asking my permission and would delete the picture because the law prohibits taking pictures of any person without his permission.
Bravo UAE
Text of Dr. Badraw’s speech
Arab Publishers Conference in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. (November 2022)
Arabic content industry and post-pandemic challenges
The first session…the second day
The repercussions of the Corona crisis on the publishing and education industry
d word Hossam Badrawi
As in the case of publishing a book between print and digital, the textbook and indeed all education systems have a challenge between the traditional and the digital.
Digital as a concept that merges into the conscience to become a reality and not a means that we use or do not use, as if we have the luxury of choosing.
Wisdom says that in every adversity, there is an opportunity..and it depends on who has the ability to extract opportunities from adversity. We have faced the spread of the Covid-19 virus for two years, and one of the models of resistance was the social divergence that led to the closure of educational institutions and the stay of millions of students and students in their homes, and the educational process almost stopped.
And the talk about digital and distance education with all its inputs went on as a temporary solution, and the value of the electronic calendar appeared for students, and the use of technology to communicate with students increased.
The ordeal stopped the educational system, and it was as if we were in a state of rebooting (rebooting) the entire education system, but it returned to work.. What is new is that stopping taught us a lot that we could not have realized except from the experience of stopping, which no one would have done without what happened..
We have to review ourselves and not go back to doing the same thing again in the same way, waiting for different results, otherwise we would be among the idiots.
Active teachers have recorded educational tapes within the framework of the curriculum and display them on YouTube, and there are many educational platforms that students use on the Internet, and some schools have made an excellent institutional effort to communicate with their students..
The question is, have we taken advantage of the opportunity, in new initiatives to train on innovative learning methods. We have to take advantage of the teachers who have shown the ability and energy to communicate with their students outside the walls of routine and traditional..
We have to encourage young people who have shown the potential of building systems to convert curricula into three-dimensional material in impressive ways, and who have established remote evaluation programs at a small cost.
We must consider the possibility of transforming schools into a mixture of digital, distance and face-to-face education, to reduce the density of classes, and to accommodate new students. Of course, what I am saying here must respect the educational foundations and the importance of being in the school community, but in a new way that may raise the level of school education and increase its splendor and value in building knowledge and creating a normal personality with pleasure that children and students can understand.
Our peoples deserve a real and tangible achievement in the field of education and humanitarian and human development. And out of our belief that the strength of our country lies in the strength of its people, and the strength of its people can only be achieved by continuous work on setting a general framework for development, raising awareness and raising the level of knowledge and skills, and that the only way to achieve this is only through the entrance of education, culture and purposeful media, so we look at the current situation In his optimistic view, as if he had opened a new door for development and modernization.
However, we must take into account that any new vision has no value except with the conviction of society and the commitment of successive governments to apply it and deal with its axes as a constitution, and that this vision must be compatible with the changing reality and the future that we create with our will.
Another point for discussion:
Education is supposed to lead the movement of progress, but in fact the movement of progress preceded the educational institutions in our Arab world, so we are running after what is happening in industry and technology, and not the other way around.
However, those who make progress, invent, innovate and innovate are still scholars and young people who graduate from the education systems and make themselves after that.
When a person buys a computer, it is a piece of iron that has no value except for the software that can be loaded onto it. From 10% of this capacity, it is easier for a person to reuse what he already knows and is comfortable with that. Likewise, the human body without what it contains of spirit, soul and mind has no value, which explains its decomposition and disappearance if it is emptied of the energy of the soul and the mind stops working, which means its death.
The human mind has a gigantic capacity, and we only use 7% to 8% of its programs, and when a person is a genius, he may use 9% to 10% of the capabilities of his mighty mind. The means of development is to use the capabilities of our minds to think and learn knowledge to accommodate what God has created of capacity in our minds that we have not used yet.

Dr. accompanied Hossam youth universities d. Mostafa Gad, Dean of the Institute of Folklore and President of the Museum.
The museum was built three years ago and includes representative images of all kinds of folklore, with wonderful statues, and impressive collections for each heritage.
This is a display of the marine environment with their boats and fishermen in their distinctive clothes
And another for the Bedouin environment, and a third for the municipal coffee with the formula of its pioneers, and another for the load ceremonies for the covering of the Holy Kaaba. It is also a representation of the journey of the Holy Family and the celebration of the Egyptians, Muslims and Christians, and the feast of the Virgin Mary.
I was fascinated by the representation of the Nubian environment, Ramadan celebrations, kunafa makers, and mesaharati with details of clothes and tools from northern to upper Egypt.
Standing in front of every representation of an environment that makes you live in it and feel the fragrance of its culture.
A great museum in which you learn that Egypt is the mother of the world with its multiplicity of heritage and the beauty of its people
Who creates a creative model in which you marvel at the multiplicity of folklore and the unity of the nation at the same time.
Look at the different pictures and environments, for here lies the beauty of pluralism, the diversity of clothing and customs and the greatness of the country’s unity at the same time.
Egypt is unparalleled guys, and I invite every family to visit this museum and salute Dr. Mostafa Gad for his effort to complete the museum’s techniques and introduce digital in display and work in acoustics that must be consistent with the exhibit and develop digital means that allow the visitor to know the origin and beauty of each heritage.
The Egyptian folklore, from the village to the nomads to the city, to the kind of popular celebrations from Nubia to the desert and oases, all of Egypt

Dr.. Hossam Badrawi and the New Republic
Waseem Al-Sisi
I received in the mail Dr. Hossam Badrawi’s book, with gentle words of dedication, a huge book of 471 pages. I looked at the book and fear with my eyes, as Nizar Qabbani put it in Abdel Halim Hafez’s masterpiece and Al-Muji, The Reader of the Cup, Why is that, Dr. Hossam!, What did I do to you?!, and I From 7 in the morning until 7 in the evening in surgeries and clinics!, Why don’t I read to you a lot in a few words like the Tunisian Bayram: Vicky, Egypt, something confusing me, wheat is planted in years, and pumpkins appear in seconds!, I’m done!.
I began to falter in reading the book! Oh God! Its pages turned into wings that flew me to the sky. I felt that this book was like a sea roaring in sequence, eloquence and strength, the courage of opinion, the depth of experience, the honesty of narration, the sweetness of utterance, the sweetness of style, the overwhelming love for Egypt A person who is not bought or sold, a person who is rich even from money itself, no hypocrisy, no hypocrisy, he talks and writes, and his motto: If you are afraid, do not write, and if you write, do not fear anyone!.
This is a book that every person should read, but every politician before any one. It tells us about trying to please everyone, so we get everyone’s anger. I remember Bernard Shaw saying: I do not know the secret of success, but rather the secret of failure, which is trying to please all people. He tells us about the civil state and that it is the state that rejects religion to achieve political goals, and that religious rule does not recognize citizenship except for those who owe their religion, because it is a dictatorial rule armed with religion.
They covered up things in their religion / and their religion is the religion of heretics
We deny the mind in believing their liar / and the mind is more worthy of honor and approval
Dr. tells us. Hossam on freedom, and how the masses should contribute to solving the problem and not be the problem. Mao Zedong used to say: Let the flowers bloom, let the ideas clash, so Voltaire wished to suffocate the last dictator with the intestines of the last religious fanatic, and he used to say: If sorcery knocks on the door of a nation, he first asks: Do they have intellectual freedom? He entered and the nation rose, and if they answered him: No!, he fled, and the nation declined.
Dr. tells us. Hossam on the American colonialism based on the British, he called them: “Vampire Frankenstein”, and he says: Those who suck their blood turn into vampires of their people, and he gives us examples: the jihadists in Afghanistan became the Taliban, supported the Brotherhood, the creation of the British Intelligence 1928, so Boko Haram came out of their cloak “Education is forbidden,” ISIS, Hamas, and the rest of the extremist organizations that destroy their countries in service of global Zionism.
Dr. Hossam admires and says: Salafism and Wahhabism are still operating in Egypt under the roof of a political reality that does not sufficiently deter them, and is ready, through funded religious organizations, to pounce on the government at any moment of inaction or failure. Hossam between the religious situation in Saudi Arabia and Egypt, as Wahhabism, religious extremism, fanaticism and extremism are in decline there, and in prosperity in Egypt, and he mentions Mahmoud Al-Saadani’s saying: The factory is closed, and the agent is running!
Dr. reminds us. Hossam, with the experience of Singapore in 1965, seven billion dollars, the national product, which reached 87 billion in the year 2000, while the per capita income increased from 435 to 30,000 dollars in the same period of time?!. He marvels at a country that is able to live on tourism only, in addition to its endless resources, and in which poverty is 30%, it is the poverty of the minds.
confirms d. Hossam on the completed justice that does not differentiate between one citizen and another. This reminds me of the book: Asian Drama – Gunnar Myrdal, and how the greatest common factor among soft states, that is, failed states, is: the absence of the rule of law, as was the throne speech of the prime minister in Egypt Ancient: I know that people’s respect for you does not happen except by your upholding justice. Beware of bringing a person close to you because he is close to me, or distancing a person from you because he is far from me. . Hossam Badrawi in his wonderful book: Dialogues with Youth for a New Republic.
