The Be an Ambassador initiative aims to spread societal awareness of sustainable development and the UN goals, so think about an awareness initiative directed especially to young people.
Dr. Badrawi’s speech, entitled The future of education, development and health in Egypt, came about the importance of sustainable development in developing society and the importance of the role of media professionals and journalists in leading society towards development and construction.
He talked about Egypt’s vision in education 2030, which Dr. Badrawi supervised its formulation and explained its five axes
The first axis: Education available to all, of high quality, without discrimination.
The second axis: the existence of an efficient, fair and sustainable institutional framework for the management and governance of the education, research and development process at the central level down to the decentralized level in the governorates, leading to the management of schools.
The third axis: technological and digital empowerment of the student, student, teacher and teaching staff in the school and university, and the development of teaching methods and methods, research and evaluation.
The fourth axis: building the integrated personality of the student and the student in all its aspects to become a citizen other than, proud of himself, enlightened, creative, proud of his country and its history, passionate about building its future, capable of difference and capable of pluralism. Note that this cannot be done without culture, art, music and exercise.
Fifth Axis: The graduate should be an initiator who has the ability to adapt to the changes around him, to create new job opportunities, and to be able to compete with his peers at the local, regional, and global levels.

Yesterday, Prof. Dr. Hossam Badrawi participated in the Cultural Salon at the Egyptian Opera House about the Education First project at Al-Hanager Theater on Saturday 20 November

Education First Foundation works on linking civil society institutions with the aim of collective action to support the governmental educational sector in Egypt and to build capacity in the official and distinguished schools of (experimental) languages ​​spread throughout Egypt.
Dr. Badrawi spoke about Egypt’s Vision 2030 in education and its five pillars

At the invitation of Dr. Abla Al-Alfi, President of the Egyptian Association of Members of the British Royal College of Pediatrics and a member of the Health Committee of the Egyptian Parliament, Dr. Hossam Badrawi, the opening speech of the workshop on caesarean section in Egypt and the reasons for its spread as an alternative to natural childbirth that is less dangerous for the mother.
Dr. Hossam pointed out how to spread health awareness, study and analyze the case and adopt practical initiatives to confront the ease of caesarean section in Egypt until it became a culture among new mothers and a time-saving solution for doctors. The rate of caesarean section in Egypt reaches 62% of births, although the healthy percentage is only 15%, which increases childbirth complications and multiple negative effects, and increases the cost. Dr. has indicated. Hossam said that the rate of cesarean delivery in the whole world has doubled, reaching 30% in many European countries and the United States, but Egypt still enjoys a double increase.
His Excellency pointed out the importance of taking care of the midwife, who is the nurse specialized in taking care of the pregnant woman during natural childbirth, and her vital role in the Egyptian countryside, while laying the foundations for her training and the system for accrediting her certificate and licensing.
Dr. Abla Al-Alfi, a member of the House of Representatives, confirmed that the workshop aims to come up with comprehensive recommendations and policies that work to reduce the rates of unnecessary caesarean sections in Egypt by applying a comprehensive approach that includes training doctors, nursing, natural birth aids and family counseling providers in the community and raising community awareness, especially pregnant women. The danger of unnecessary caesarean sections and its negative effects on the mother and the child. This comes in line with the state’s plan for the development of the family and early childhood and in implementation of the presidential initiative New Day, which cares for premature babies and newborns, with a focus on the importance of the first thousand days in a child’s life.

At the invitation of Heliopolis University, Prof. Dr. Hossam Badrawi participated yesterday in the closing activities of the Egypt 2021 Forum for Community Initiatives at Heliopolis University. He was received by Professor Helmy Abu El-Eish, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees
The forum lasted for two days 3-4 November and aims to launch a network of community initiatives on the four axes of sustainable development, which are environmental, social, cultural and economic
Representatives from the Ministry of Social Solidarity, the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, the German Agency for International Cooperation, the Organization for Community and International Initiatives, and a selection of participating local and international development and non-profit organizations participated in the forum’s activities.
The social axis discusses topics that highlight disability and rural development, models of community institutions and their role in society, empowering women and sustainable rural development, the importance of volunteer work and its role in the development sector. The environmental axis deals with some topics through which economic comparisons between biological and traditional agriculture are discussed, agricultural certification standards, how to expand the scope of organic agriculture in Egypt, and the German Agency for International Cooperation contributes to a lecture entitled Digital Innovation in Agriculture.
The economic axis aims at the participation of a number of entrepreneurs and emerging companies in Egypt, in order to support young people in creating an ethical labor market. The theme includes holding six panel discussions, the contributions of active members in the field of entrepreneurship, circular economy, ethical finance, what it means to be a responsible entrepreneur.
As for the cultural axis, a number of workshops and artistic performances are organized, which are held in the art houses of Heliopolis University, which vary between reciting poetry, performing arts, color workshops, theater, and the art of improvisation.
