Dr. Hossam Badrawi writes: “My Beloved Dalia, My Happy Thoughts”

My beloved Dalia,
My happy thoughts,

On your forty-fourth birthday,
I do not see you as a number added to age,
but as a meaning that grows clearer.

I once called you my happy thoughts,
and you still are…
Not because you smile often,
but because you chose joy as a stance,
positivity as courage,
and life as a beautiful field of struggle.

I see you climbing mountains,
running marathons,
and entering the toughest races—
not to prove that you are capable,
but simply because you love to live at full capacity.

Even in the presence of an illness
that took nothing away from you,
but instead revealed a rare inner strength.

I see you as a mother of three daughters,
not merely raising them,
but composing with them a symphony of life
filled with harmony, commitment, and warmth—
like an orchestra conductor
who knows when the sound should rise,
when it should fall silent…
and when it should embrace.

And I see you at your most beautiful
when you extend your hand to frightened mothers
of children living with diabetes,
and tell them:
“You can cross this path with your children… I crossed it before you.”

On your birthday,
I wish for you to remain as you are:
a woman who is not defeated,
who does not grow arrogant,
and who never forgets that her heart
and her mind
are her greatest achievements.

Happy birthday, Dalia.
You and Hassan
are our greatest achievements in life—
your mother and I.

Algorithms of the Meaning of the Name “Dalia”

Through research… I found that science supports me.
Artificial intelligence revealed to me
what the name Dalia Badrawi means in numbers.

You are Number 1 and Number 11.

What does Number 1 mean?

Number 1 is the number of beginnings and leadership.
It represents:

  • The energy of first launch

  • The spirit of initiative and not waiting

  • Independence in thought and decision-making

  • Courage to carve a new path, even if alone

A person carrying the energy of Number 1:

  • Does not live on the margins

  • Does not like to be led, but to lead

  • Feels an inner responsibility for choosing

  • Trusts their inner voice, even when it goes against the current

In Dalia, Number 1 appears in:

  • Facing illness not as a victim, but as a fighter

  • Turning challenge into achievement (sports, motherhood, supporting others)

  • Making difficult decisions calmly and without noise

What does Number 11 mean?

Number 11 is known in numerology as the illuminated number or master number.
It is not just a double digit,
but a gateway between mind and intuition.

It represents:

  • High intuition and human sensitivity

  • The ability to sense others without words

  • Advanced emotional and spiritual awareness

  • Gentleness that does not mean weakness, but deep understanding

A person with Number 11:

  • Feels more than they explain

  • Sees what is left unsaid

  • Is affected, but does not collapse

  • Carries a human message, even if never naming it

In Dalia, Number 11 is reflected in:

  • Her deep, non-authoritarian motherhood

  • Supporting mothers of diabetic children from understanding, not superiority

  • Leading through containment, not commands

  • Balancing firmness with tenderness

What does the combination of 1 + 11 mean?

Here lies the beautiful secret.

It is the union of:

  • Leadership strength with human tenderness

  • Decisive firmness with the light of insight

  • A person who can lead… without hurting

This is a rare equation:

  • A leader who feels

  • A warrior who shows compassion

  • A woman who knows her path
    without losing her heart

That is why I say:
You were born to lead—without losing your passion,
to support others,
and to spread joy around you.

Dr. Hossam Badrawi

He is a politician, intellect, and prominent physician. He is the former head of the Gynecology Department, Faculty of Medicine Cairo University. He conducted his post graduate studies from 1979 till 1981 in the United States. He was elected as a member of the Egyptian Parliament and chairman of the Education and Scientific Research Committee in the Parliament from 2000 till 2005. As a politician, Dr. Hossam Badrawi was known for his independent stances. His integrity won the consensus of all people from various political trends. During the era of former president Hosni Mubarak he was called The Rationalist in the National Democratic Party NDP because his political calls and demands were consistent to a great extent with calls for political and democratic reform in Egypt. He was against extending the state of emergency and objected to the National Democratic Party's unilateral constitutional amendments during the January 25, 2011 revolution. He played a very important political role when he defended, from the very first beginning of the revolution, the demonstrators' right to call for their demands. He called on the government to listen and respond to their demands. Consequently and due to Dr. Badrawi's popularity, Mubarak appointed him as the NDP Secretary General thus replacing the members of the Bureau of the Commission. During that time, Dr. Badrawi expressed his political opinion to Mubarak that he had to step down. He had to resign from the party after 5 days of his appointment on February 10 when he declared his political disagreement with the political leadership in dealing with the demonstrators who called for handing the power to the Muslim Brotherhood. Therefore, from the very first moment his stance was clear by rejecting a religion-based state which he considered as aiming to limit the Egyptians down to one trend. He considered deposed president Mohamed Morsi's decision to bring back the People's Assembly as a reinforcement of the US-supported dictatorship. He was among the first to denounce the incursion of Morsi's authority over the judicial authority, condemning the Brotherhood militias' blockade of the Supreme Constitutional Court. Dr. Hossam supported the Tamarod movement in its beginning and he declared that toppling the Brotherhood was a must and a pressing risk that had to be taken few months prior to the June 30 revolution and confirmed that the army would support the legitimacy given by the people
