I have always believed that wisdom is not exclusive, and that divine light cannot be confined to a single culture, religion, or prophet. Rather, it shines upon anyone who purifies their intention and seeks truth\u2014regardless of their language or path.<\/p>\n
In the great journey of humanity, as we wander in search, longing, and discovery, many lights shine upon the heart. Yet all these lights come from one source: the eternal truth that one reaches through intellect, experience, and faith.<\/p>\n
It is remarkable to witness this accumulation of light in human wisdom and in the Creator\u2019s message that reaches us through different ways and diverse means.<\/p>\n
I open the Book of God and read: This voice does not sing alone. It harmonizes with voices echoing through the depths of history:<\/p>\n Buddha<\/strong>, seated beneath the tree of enlightenment, says: Confucius<\/strong>, in his calm, paternal tone, reminds his students: And in the Bible<\/strong>, the eternal voice resounds: As though the universe itself echoes one truth: human freedom is a responsibility<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Then verses whisper to my soul: Buddha says: Confucius teaches his children: In the Bible: All of humanity stands at the threshold of the mother and father, kissing their feet in gratitude.<\/p>\n Then the light leads me to the path of balance: Buddha outlines the “noble middle way,” avoiding extremes.<\/p>\n Confucius warns: And in the Bible: Even Akhenaten<\/strong>, in his prayers to the one sun disk, says: Then the Qur’an gently calls: Buddha echoes: Confucius reminds: In the Bible, God promises: Then the light returns me to the essence of wisdom: Buddha teaches: Confucius advises: And in the Bible, freedom is born through knowledge: Then the Qur\u2019an takes me to the most intimate moment of nearness: Here, the distance between servant and Lord disappears.<\/p>\n Buddha does not pray to a personal deity but seeks inner peace through contemplation of existence, yet he confesses: Confucius reveres “Heaven” as the source of order and justice.<\/p>\n Akhenaten pours out his love to God\u2019s light that fills the heavens and earth: And the Bible offers the eternal promise: And the sweetest of Qur’anic calls flows in my veins: All religions melt into a river of mercy.<\/p>\n Buddha whispers: Confucius lays the foundations of compassion: And in the Bible: Before the grandeur of pure monotheism, the Qur\u2019an proclaims: In Akhenaten\u2019s heart: And in the Bible: Here I stand at the threshold of this unifying light, and I see that wisdom\u2014though its forms may differ\u2014is one in essence.<\/p>\n The religion of innate nature (fitrah) shines in every sincere soul\u2026 And so, when the Qur\u2019an addresses me: It is the human soul<\/strong> when it reaches its highest station: the station of pure monotheism, the station of the One Light<\/strong>. Life is but a journey toward this light\u2014paths may differ, but the source remains one.<\/p>\n In conclusion:<\/strong><\/p>\n I understand that religions may differ in appearance, but they all open onto the same light. That humanity, in every time and place, carries within it one question: Who am I? And what gives my existence meaning?<\/em><\/p>\n And because God does not deprive a sincere heart of guidance, revelations came\u2014diverse in form, unified in essence\u2014to tell every lost soul: I do not write this to dissolve spiritual distinctiveness, but to testify that the core of these distinctions is one. \n“Filial piety is the foundation of virtue. Honoring them in life and after death uplifts the soul.”<\/em><\/p>\n
\n“Honor your father and mother so that your days may be long.”<\/em><\/p>\n
\n“Do not be wasteful… and do not keep your hand chained to your neck.”<\/strong>
\nIt is a call for moderation in earning and spending, in giving and receiving.<\/p>\n
\n“Wealth without justice is the ruin of the soul.”<\/em><\/p>\n
\n“The love of money is the root of all evil.”<\/em><\/p>\n
\n“Pure-hearted giving is your offering, O Aten.”<\/em><\/p>\n
\n“And do not walk upon the earth arrogantly…”<\/strong>
\nHumility is the crown of the wise, the robe of the enlightened.<\/p>\n
\n“As heavy-laden wheat bends low, so does the wise bow with the fruit of knowledge.”<\/em><\/p>\n
\n“The truly great are those who acknowledge their shortcomings and do not boast of their virtues.”<\/em><\/p>\n
\n“Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.”<\/em><\/p>\n
\n“And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge…”<\/strong>
\nThere is no place for assumption and ignorance where the light of reason shines.<\/p>\n
\n“Do not believe anything simply because you heard it; test it, contemplate, let your mind be your guide.”<\/em><\/p>\n
\n“Wisdom begins when you realize how much you do not know.”<\/em><\/p>\n
\n“You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”<\/em><\/p>\n
\n“And when My servants ask you concerning Me, indeed I am near…”<\/strong><\/p>\n
\n“Deep peace is an inner encounter with eternal light.”<\/em><\/p>\n
\n“O You who shine upon all living things, O Giver of breath…”<\/em><\/p>\n
\n“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”<\/em><\/p>\n
\n“So do not oppress the orphan, and do not repel the beggar.”<\/strong><\/p>\n
\n“Extend your hand to those who suffer, for in their salvation lies your own.”<\/em><\/p>\n
\n“The noble cannot bear to see others in pain.”<\/em><\/p>\n
\n“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.”<\/em><\/p>\n
\n“God\u2014there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence…”<\/strong><\/p>\n
\n“There is no one but You, my Lord, the light of life, the One and Only.”<\/em><\/p>\n
\n“The Lord our God, the Lord is one.”<\/em><\/p>\n
\nIn every quest for justice\u2026
\nIn every call to mercy\u2026
\nIn every invitation to humility\u2026
\nIn every love of truth\u2026
\nIn every certainty in the One God.<\/p>\n
\n“O tranquil soul, return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing.”<\/strong>
\nI understand that this pure soul is not exclusively Muslim\u2026
\nNor only Buddhist\u2026
\nNor solely Christian\u2026
\nNor Confucian or Akhenatenian.<\/p>\n
\n“Take heart\u2026 the path to Me is open.”<\/strong><\/p>\n
