It’s as if we\u2019re sinking in quicksand\u2014the more we try to escape, the more it swallows us\u2026<\/p>\n

Bad news flows endlessly, harmful behaviors prevail, blatant betrayals of principles and values unfold,
\nUntil we find ourselves bathing in ugliness every morning, and consuming sadness with dinner.<\/p>\n

But is this truly the world as it is?
\nOr merely as it\u2019s being shown to us?<\/p>\n

I say with confidence: No, this is not the whole truth.<\/p>\n

The vast majority of people do not kill, steal, or lie.
\nAround us are loving, kind people\u2014workers waking up early to earn their living with integrity, mothers raising their children on generosity, young people dreaming and creating beauty.
\nBut we don\u2019t see them because the spotlight is only cast on the dark corners.<\/p>\n

Evil is loud\u2026
\nAnd good is shy.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This crisis may not be new to humanity,
\nBut the difference today is that our media spreads negativity at the speed of light, magnifying and repeating it,
\nUntil we begin to believe we live in constant hell.<\/p>\n

Media platforms promote what provokes fear and anger,
\nAnd overlook stories of quiet heroism, daily compassion, and subtle creativity.<\/p>\n

Thus, the world is no longer as it truly is\u2014but as we perceive it.
\nAnd we become what we see.<\/p>\n

Positive energy is not a luxury\u2014
\nIt is resistance.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Resistance against the overwhelming current of consumed negativity.
\nIt is a pure awareness that we are responsible for what we choose to feed our minds and souls with.<\/p>\n

And it is also action:
\nTo teach our children love, not fear,
\nTo celebrate beauty in our homes, not shouting,
\nTo demand from our media a change in tone.<\/p>\n

The family<\/strong> is the first school of taste, mercy, and balance.
\nThe media<\/strong> is the window through which we view the world.<\/p>\n

If both join forces to broadcast light instead of darkness,
\nAnd if we\u2014as societies\u2014conspire to spread beauty as eagerly as we spread gossip,
\nPerhaps we can finally escape the quicksand that drains our spirits every day.<\/p>\n

Yes, we<\/strong> are the makers of what we live in.
\nAnd hope<\/strong> is not something we\u2019re given\u2014it is something we build.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s start by changing what we consume, what we say, and what we repeat…

He played a very important political role when he defended, from the very first beginning of the revolution, the demonstrators' right to call for their demands. He called on the government to listen and respond to their demands. Consequently and due to Dr. Badrawi's popularity, Mubarak appointed him as the NDP Secretary General thus replacing the members of the Bureau of the Commission. During that time, Dr. Badrawi expressed his political opinion to Mubarak that he had to step down. He had to resign from the party after 5 days of his appointment on February 10 when he declared his political disagreement with the political leadership in dealing with the demonstrators who called for handing the power to the Muslim Brotherhood. Therefore, from the very first moment his stance was clear by rejecting a religion-based state which he considered as aiming to limit the Egyptians down to one trend. He considered deposed president Mohamed Morsi's decision to bring back the People's Assembly as a reinforcement of the US-supported dictatorship. He was among the first to denounce the incursion of Morsi's authority over the judicial authority, condemning the Brotherhood militias' blockade of the Supreme Constitutional Court. During the era of former president Hosni Mubarak he was called The Rationalist in the National Democratic Party NDP because his political calls and demands were consistent to a great extent with calls for political and democratic reform in Egypt. He was against extending the state of emergency and objected to the National Democratic Party's unilateral constitutional amendments during the January 25, 2011 revolution. He played a very important political role when he defended, from the very first beginning of the revolution, the demonstrators' right to call for their demands. He called on the government to listen and respond to their demands. Consequently and due to Dr. Badrawi's popularity, Mubarak appointed him as the NDP Secretary General thus replacing the members of the Bureau of the Commission. During that time, Dr. Badrawi expressed his political opinion to Mubarak that he had to step down. He had to resign from the party after 5 days of his appointment on February 10 when he declared his political disagreement with the political leadership in dealing with the demonstrators who called for handing the power to the Muslim Brotherhood. Therefore, from the very first moment his stance was clear by rejecting a religion-based state which he considered as aiming to limit the Egyptians down to one trend. He considered deposed president Mohamed Morsi's decision to bring back the People's Assembly as a reinforcement of the US-supported dictatorship. He was among the first to denounce the incursion of Morsi's authority over the judicial authority, condemning the Brotherhood militias' blockade of the Supreme Constitutional Court.
