At the invitation of Dr. Hossam Badrawi, in his capacity as President and spiritual father of the Takatoat Association, a ceremony was held today, Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Al-Sayyida Aisha Basic Education School in 10th of Ramadan City, to inaugurate the establishment of a kindergarten within the school.
Dr. Badrawi opened the event, accompanied by Dr. Maya Morsy, Minister of Social Solidarity, Eng. Hazem Al-Ashmouni, Governor of Sharqia, Ms. Miray Nassim, CEO of the Takatoat Association, and Ms. Marian Hosny, Managing Director of Hosny Textiles Company. Together, they toured the new facility and expressed their delight at what they saw.
The ceremony began with a welcoming speech by Ms. Miray Nassim, who greeted the attendees and donors, expressing her deep happiness at their presence. She then gave the floor to Dr. Hossam Badrawi, who delivered the following remarks:
“Honorable Minister, Honorable Governor, Dear Mothers and Fathers, My beloved children,
I stand before you today filled with pride and joy. This kindergarten we inaugurate together is not just a new building, but a warm home and a safe haven, opening its doors to our young children as they take their very first steps on the journey of knowledge and life.
The years between four and six are when the mind blossoms like a flower and the heart begins to take shape through love and values. In these short years, a child’s personality is formed, seeds of curiosity and creativity are planted, and love for goodness is instilled. From here, dreams begin, and from here, self-confidence is built.
That is why, at Takatoat Association, we believe that education does not start only at primary school, but at this early stage. We believe that children from simple backgrounds deserve the same opportunities, care, and hope.
We wanted this kindergarten to be more than walls and furniture—it is a place where children grow in every aspect:
-
With knowledge that opens minds,
-
With play that nourishes imagination,
-
With love that builds the heart,
-
And with the role models their teachers provide.
Here, the teacher is not just a lesson-giver, but a second parent, shaping the child’s character and instilling values.
We believe that education rests on four pillars:
-
A well-prepared teacher who loves their mission.
-
A curriculum that balances knowledge and fun.
-
A safe, stimulating environment that encourages curiosity and discovery.
-
Cooperation between the home, school, and community.
Everything we plant in these children’s hearts today will become tomorrow’s strength, knowledge, and security for our nation.
I thank everyone who supported us and helped bring this project to life, and I hope we will continue this journey of investing in our most precious treasure—our children.”
Following this, Governor Hazem Al-Ashmouni gave a speech welcoming the guests to the governorate, praising the work of the Association as an excellent model of state–civil society cooperation, and promising to continue supporting projects in the governorate.
In conclusion, Minister Maya Morsy expressed her joy at seeing such an achievement come to fruition. She thanked Ms. Miray Nassim, describing her as the spirit of the Takatoat Association and its source of joy and vitality. She also extended her gratitude to Dr. Badrawi, expressing deep appreciation for his tireless efforts in education and many other fields, noting his constant dedication to governance and ensuring that everyone fulfills their role to complete the circle. She praised him as a great scholar who has never spared any effort in serving his country and its people.
The event ended with smiles of happiness on the faces of all attendees, proud of the great accomplishment. Guests eagerly took commemorative photos with Dr. Badrawi and the distinguished participants of the celebration.
