With love, religions are compatible

A group of young “Dreamers of Tomorrow” rose up in panic over the angry and disrespectful reactions of some Facebook activists to an opinion I published on my page with 2 million followers about what happened in France by publishing offensive drawings of our Master Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him. And what followed was the slaughter of a French teacher and French citizens praying in a church, and a massive revolution in the Islamic world.

One of these young people said to me: I read what you published, doctor, and I did not understand the reason for the anger of some!! What is your interpretation?

I told him: Dr. Taha Hussein says: “I do not fear an enemy for the reformer more than I fear public opinion, for the masses have compelling power over the souls, rarely resisting it except the most valiant people, the most sincere of them in determination, and the strongest of them are casual..” I believe that many walk the herd of anger.

And here is the post that I wrote, and I will divide it into parts to make it easier to understand.. The post says under the title “Wake up.. God bless you”:

“I challenge that those angry with France and its president have heard or read Macron’s speech themselves. Most of us didn’t make an effort to listen for ourselves and see for ourselves.

(And here I am inspired by the science that says, “Let us verify through original sources before building an opinion. We have become accustomed in our Islamic culture to impotence, about so-and-so, about so-and-so, without documented written sources, which is what made the reactions all based on what others publish, as they did not I find that less than 5% of those around me have seen for themselves the cartoons of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and have not read Macron’s sermon in which they claim that he insulted the Messenger of God, noting that in my opening this I did not express an opinion, but rather a question that does not elicit anger..).

Then I added my understanding of his viewpoint as president of his country, saying: “He maintains the philosophy of the existence of republican France, which we express as the modern civil state.”

I added: “I do not defend him, and I do not care about that, and he erred because he did not take into account different cultures, and I thought that he had the duty to apologize for the massacres of French colonialism in Africa and the Middle East in recent history. But I also see that agitating Muslim peoples, inflaming their feelings, and beating the drums of religious war in the name of the love of the Prophet, may the peace and blessings of God be upon him, is a great mistake… and a mistake in front of a mistake does not make a right one.

The Prophet, who forgave and had mercy and spread his message of love and mercy, was not harsh and hard-hearted, but rather a gentle and beautiful lover who unites and does not differentiate between people.

The beheading of the French history teacher and justifying his killing is the real insult to Islam and the Prophet.

The slaughter and beheading of French people in the church in Nice is not Islam, Christianity, or Judaism, but terrorism and madness.

The terrorist Brotherhood, ISIS, Al-Qaeda, Boko Haram, and the ambitions of the President of Turkey and other terrorists are the real insult to Islam and the Prophet.

(This sentence was one of the sentences that provoked the drummers of extremism.. and you can infer why!!!)

And she added:

“As for the boycott, please look at our recent history and our boycott of the Zionist enemy and America.. did you threaten anyone?!.. we are the kings of speech and hypocrisy, we say boycott and we are an unproductive country, and we consume all the inventions of the West in every moment of our lives.”

(This also provoked a large number of people, although I mention a fact, not an opinion).

And I added:

“Because people do not read to the end, and their emotions precede their minds, I, despite my rational words, condemn all kinds of terrorism everywhere and with any basis, and I affirm that terrorism has no religion, and the inadmissibility of stigmatizing the Islamic religion with terrorism and shaping the impression of the world in the form of a minority of Muslims, and stereotyping Following the Islamic religion with terrorism, especially with what that constitutes an additional fuel for igniting strife and undermining civil peace and coexistence between religions and beliefs all over the world.

As a Muslim citizen who is proud of his religion and loves his Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, I hope to use reason to demonstrate the beauty and perfection of our religion, and to be living examples of his tolerance, generosity and love for all God’s creation.

Guys, with love we win..

With hate we lose…

The response to an insult we think of our honorable Prophet is by showing his beauty, perfection and mercy, and not by violence, killing and slaughtering human beings like us.

Let’s rise to the level of humanity of Muhammad, peace be upon him, and not fall to the level of murderers and terrorists.

Wake up, may God have mercy on you.”

For God’s sake, what does that make anyone angry?!

One of the young people said: By the way, doctor, slanderers are always the loudest, and they make us think that they are a majority and they are not. We have analyzed all the reactions, and this is the result of our viewing.. The post has been viewed by more than 250 thousand viewers, and it has been republished by 12 thousand follower. You received written responses from 2,500 people, including 428 (17%), all of which are insults, insults and assaults on your person and accusing you of not loving the Messenger for peace, and 210 (8%) a message saying, “Except for the Prophet, we will not allow him to be insulted” (as if you had insulted him) .. and 1860 A letter in which they understand your message, which is full of love and tolerance, but it is not without blame for not showing your anger against France, and that it is necessary to take revenge on them by boycotting… Also, I blame you for not seeing the value of the boycott and no benefit.

One of the young men shyly asked about Macron’s sermon because she hadn’t read it either.

I told her: From my point of view, it is a sermon that represents his view of French secularism and the foundations of the republic as France sees it. their history and the accumulation of their experiences. If some Muslims agree to immigrate to it, then they must respect their rules… They fled tyranny, poverty and tyranny in their countries to a country where freedom, secularism, free education and health care for all… Some people now want to change France’s society to match what they fled from, don’t you see that this is surprising?! .

Another young man said: But not in the name of freedom of expression, do we allow them to insult our religious symbols?!

I said to him: What do you mean by “we”?

He said: The Islamic world.

I said: Does the Islamic world have a common characteristic or a body that speaks in its name? .. And if it is, where are they from among the people?

Poverty, oppression and tyranny, in addition to ignorance in the countries of Islam..Who is insulting our religion, the French or us?!!!!..ISIS or Boko Haram or the Brotherhood or Wahhabism or the Taliban or others who kill and slaughter Muslims and make them infidels and destroy the countries of Islam. Or us?!! The majority of Muslims are silent!!.

Yes.. I get angry if I see something that touches my lover, so what about our Master Muhammad, who I see in the midst of the madness of extremism and violence and severing of throats in the name of Islam!! In a different way, I think of him as a beautiful human being, of good morals, before he was a messenger and prophet who represented a heart and a pillar The Islamic religion in his words and actions.

As for woe, woe, and the slogans raised by Muslim demonstrations, they did not and will not change anything, gentlemen. Rather, legal and diplomatic work, the use of reason, and reaching our goals without complicating matters, as the Jews did after they were a pariah group in the whole European society, and then after that when they succeeded in passing a law It is forbidden to talk about the Holocaust, and we can, with the tireless coordination and joint effort between Al-Azhar, the Egyptian Church and the Pope of the Vatican, issue a law that prohibits insulting the prophets, and prevent religious wars that appear promising in favor of extremism and hatred.

Those who will suffer from this current frenzy are the peaceful Muslims, who are the majority who live in freedom in France today, numbering 8 million.. The movers and financiers live far away. The Muslims of France are not concerned with the bloody and colonial history of France, which we do not deny, but they are not within the framework of their accountability now for their history. Rather, they are concerned with a present in which they live freely and enjoy their rights, and we turn it against them with emotions that will rise and end, and they will have nothing but suffering in a country they chose to escape from the corruption and injustice of their country.

Wake up, may God have mercy on you.
