BADRAWI CHAIRED A SESSION ON EDUCATION AT AN INTERNATIONAL UNESCO CONFERENCE

At the invitation of the UNESCO Regional Office, Dr. Hossam Badrawi chaired the lifelong learning session and presented his vision. He discussed with Subaru Finkata, a UNESCO expert in adult education and lifelong learning, from India, Dr. Raafat Radwan, Secretary General of the Arab Union for Information Technology, and all attendees the 17th pillars of sustainable development recommended by the United Nations until 2030. Dr. Badrawi pointed out that lifelong learning depends on the idea that learning is not limited to the period of childhood or the study room, but extends to all stages of life and anywhere. Over the past 50 years, scientific development has changed the concept of learning, and gaining of knowledge has no longer been linked to a particular place and time. This principle has proved effectiveness in involving citizens in the growth of society and personal development.
