Dad Badrawi participates in a round table to discuss citizenship

At the special invitation of His Eminence Bishop Mounir Hanna, Bishop of the Episcopal Church of Egypt and North Africa, Dr. Hossam Badrawi attended today a round table to discuss citizenship and freedom of belief at the episcopal headquarters with the envoy of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Lord Ahmed of Wimbledon, the minister in charge of the matter and the Kingdom’s ambassador to Egypt, Sir Jeffrey Adams and a representative of the Sheikh Al-Azhar, Dr. Ziad Bahaa El-Din and his wife, Ambassador Raouf Saad, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, Counselor Adly Hussein, President of the Association, and many public figures, representatives of churches and ambassadors. Discussions took place about the necessity of respecting the Egyptian Constitution and its Article 53, which stipulates the establishment of a commission to prevent discrimination and respect faith. It is worth mentioning that Bishop Mounir Hanna was a colleague. Dr. Hossam Badrawi at the Faculty of Medicine, who are friends of Omar, moderated the discussion, Dr. Mostafa El-Feki, Director of the Library of Alexandria and former Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee in the Egyptian Parliament
