Prof. Hossam Badrawi, in his capacity as a member of the Advisory Board of Trustees of the Alexandria Library, and Chairman of the Research Projects Committee at the Library, attended the signing ceremony of the agreement between the library and Le Center national de la research scientific in France and its CIDAJ Center to digitize articles published in Egypt in all media throughout recent history to ensure The presence of the date numbered for researchers. It is a project that started with the library 8 years ago and is renewed for the third time. This agreement will be signed within the framework of the visit of French President Macron to Egypt to confirm the cultural cooperation between the two countries. The celebration was attended by Dr. Hossam and Dr. Mostafa El-Feki, Mr. Mounir Abdel Nour, Ambassador Fatima Al-Zahra, Ambassador Mohamed Anis, Dr. Hoda Al-Mikati, Deputy Director of the Library, and Hala Bayoumi, Director of the Digitization Department at the Center Al-Sedaj has in the archive more than 2 million articles since the beginning of the 1970s, and it has now been made available in the three languages, Arabic, French and English, to researchers through an electronic portal. There is also a collection of 12,000 Egyptian cartoons throughout history. All these works make the Bibliotheca Alexandrina the smart library in the region and lead digital documentation in the Arab world.
