Dr. Badrawi chairs an important session at the Governance Forum

Dr. Badrawi chairs an important session in the forum “The Role of Academics, the Private Sector and Think Tanks in the Governance Process” with a large African presence. Today, Prof. Hossam Badrawi participated in the forum “The Role of Academics, the Private Sector and Think Tanks in the Governance Process” hosted by the Institute of National Planning within the framework of Egypt’s membership in the African Peer Review Mechanism with the Continental Secretariat of the African Mechanism. Dr. Badrawi announced that the Badrawi Foundation for Education and Development, with the blessing of the state, has established an observatory to follow up the implementation of Egypt’s Vision 2030 in the education sector, noting that this step comes with the support of the Minister of Planning for a proposal submitted by the Badrawi Foundation to focus on the repercussions of the development strategy on education. Badrawi added, during his speech today, Monday, in the activities of the public forum on the role of academics, the private sector and think tanks in the governance process, hosted by the National Planning Institute, that the efforts of the Public Mobilization and Statistics Authority and the relevant ministries will be used to obtain key information related to education to follow up on the implementation timetable and its requirements. A financial budget, based on the vital role of civil society in supporting and following up on the state in implementing integrated and sustainable development.
