Yesterday (November 17, 2019) Prof. Dr. Hossam Badrawi, founder and chairman of the Board of Trustees of the “Union Party” (established in 2011 with a membership of 48,000 citizens at the time of its establishment) inaugurated the party’s training and educational symposium in Alexandria, which was organized by the party’s secretariat in the governorate, in the presence of 120 members from the governorates Alexandria, Sohag, Dakahlia, and Beheira, in addition to a number of guests including them

Mr. Amer Abu Zeid, Secretary of the Party, Sohag Governorate, and Engineer Basem Al-Khawas, Vice-President of the Party, exchanged an educational dialogue with guests and party members.
The seminar was skillfully moderated by Ms. Hanan Halim, Deputy Secretary of the Union Party in Alexandria.
The interactive lecture by Dr. Sami Abdel Aziz was summarized in the political marketing of parties and its importance in the development of political life. He discussed with the audience a number of axes that must be available in the party’s media discourse so that it can gain the confidence and support of the masses.
Dr. Sami also interacted with party members in a discussion about what the Union Party represents, what its identity is in their minds, and what the message and goals should be communicated to the target groups of the party.
Dr. has confirmed. Badrawi that the time has come, after the stability of the country, to enter into a new political phase in which the ceiling of freedoms rises within the legal and legal framework, with constructive work and a positive spirit that gives political, social and economic alternatives.
He said that the next stage of June 30 called for a specific political form, and the next stage called for pluralism that would allow political competition for the benefit of development.
His Excellency stated that the inputs to politics in the world have changed and the shape of the parties has developed, and that the Union Party has commissioned the Thoth Research Center for Political Studies to conduct a study on the development of parties in the ancient countries of democracy with the aim of improving the party’s work organizationally and digitally, taking into account the successful international experiences.
The Union Party announced community initiatives that intend to support the state in development and the governance of its administrations:
The first initiative: A special initiative to set standards for competitiveness between governorates, in accordance with international standards, and to issue an annual report on them. The National Competitiveness Council, a non-profit civil institution, signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Ministry of Planning and the Cabinet Information Center to achieve this. Dr. Badrawi is the honorary president of the council and its founder.

The second initiative: It is to follow up on the implementation of Egypt’s Vision 2030 in education through a dedicated observatory that uses the standards and indicators issued by the committee that formulated the Education Vision 2030 (Vision 2030 was an initiative of the state through the Ministry of Planning in which experts in various disciplines were summoned to formulate it. The third initiative: is to establish groups of primary health care clinics owned by junior doctors and within a tight framework that supports social health insurance

The second initiative: depends on what the government revealed by providing more than 1,000 new electronic services through which the citizen can obtain his needs. Citizens have access to these services provided by the state within the framework of the state’s strategy for digital transformation.
In a special session, Dr. Badrawi explained the party’s vision in education and health, which represent the basis for the citizen’s right to a decent life, and exchanged views with those present on the party’s economic vision to increase wealth and eliminate poverty.
An opinion questionnaire form was distributed to the attendees through which their opinions are collected to raise the efficiency of the management of the upcoming party symposia.
Everyone pledged to build the nation effectively and to continue changing conditions within the framework of constitutional legitimacy.
In the end, Mr. Amer Abu Zaid, Secretary of the Union Party in Sohag announced that the party’s educational training symposium will be in Sohag governorate on December 20th, as an introduction to seminars and workshops in the rest of the governorates.
