Today, Prof. Dr. Hossam Badrawi attended the annual ceremony of the Association of Friends of Ahmed Bahaa El-Din, which was held this evening and was revived by the opera singer Fatima Said. It was attended by Dr. Ghada Wali, Minister of Social Solidarity, and a large number of civil and media work figures, senior thinkers and intellectuals from the students of the great thinker Ahmed Baha El-Din.
The ceremony began with a speech by Dr. Ziad Bahaa El-Din, Chairman of the Society’s Board of Directors, who reviewed the most important achievements of the Society in 2019 in Assiut Governorate and praised the cooperation of the Ministry of Social Solidarity in supporting the Society’s activities.
Dr. Badrawi praised the activity of the association and the members of the board of directors for their efforts and determination to work in Upper Egypt and their commitment to providing cultural development work. This association is one of the most active associations in Assiut, which is one of the poorest governorates in Egypt. Among the poorest thousand villages in Egypt are 207 villages in Assiut.
