Murder and mercy in the Qur’an – By Dr. Hossam Badrawi

Murder and mercy in the Qur’an
Written by Hossam Badrawi
My almost desperate friend said to me:
Can you imagine that the number of verses about killing in the Qur’an, which fanatics and terrorists rely on, is 96 verses!!!
I told him: The number of verses of mercy is 268
Love is 86 and peace is 85
It has been mentioned that humans were created to coexist without coercion in religion dozens of times.
Whoever wants to see the light will find it, and whoever wants to live in darkness will also find it.
The beauty of human creation and his genius lies in his ability to choose.
God created us and gave us the mind, and we are the ones who create our reality, my friend.
I see God as love and goodness, not murder and evil.
I even see that evil does not exist in itself, but rather the lack of goodness in souls that choose and are not forced.
