Dr. Hossam Badrawy, Honorary President of the Egyptian National Council for Competitiveness, met with Mr. Seif Allah Fahmy, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Mr. Nabil Sobhi, Acting Executive Director of the Council.
The meeting discussed the Council’s work to advance the comprehensive competitiveness of the Egyptian economy and the ongoing efforts to support national initiatives in the economic and development field with the aim of localizing sustainable development goals in light of Egypt’s 2030 strategy.
The Egyptian National Competitiveness Council (ENCC) was established in 2004 and is a non-profit group to develop and support economic policies. It was founded by a number of Egyptian economic and investment experts, thinkers and businessmen committed to improving the competitiveness of the Egyptian economy.
The Council is the first and only independent Egyptian body that calls for improving competitiveness in Egypt and works to achieve it by supporting policies aimed at improving the business environment and investment attractiveness with the aim of enhancing the competitiveness of the Egyptian economy.
The Council constantly addresses the principles of comprehensive growth and sustainable development, as it acts as a channel for dialogue on economic policies among all relevant parties. The Council constantly seeks to enhance Egypt’s competitiveness.
